Our 11 Day best of Tanzania safari will take you to all top safari destination in northern Tanzania. The highlight of your adventure will Serengeti national park where on lucky day, you will be able the river crossing of crocodile feasted Mara River or Grumeti river. This experience draws hundreds of thousand people from all over the world to witness this once in a lifetime experience.
Beside the famous Serengeti national park, you will also be able to visit Ngorongoro conservation area where you will be able to visit the biggest caldera that is not lake in the world. The caldera is the home to the permanent resident blue wildebeest. You will be able to encounter the wildebeest year-round in this conservation as these ones are non migrant unlike the one from Serengeti.
You will further visit Tarangire national park, the park is famous for its huge concentration of elephants that lives in the family. You will also be able to encounter the baobab tree that were made famous in the bible. Another park you will visit is lake manyara national park famous by its beautiful scenery. Surely your safari will be a total discovery of Tanzania northern circuit.
Full safari itinerary
Day 1 – Arrive Kilimanjaro/Arusha
You will be met on arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport and transferred to Lake Duluti Serena Lodge nestled at the foot of mount Meru.

Day 2 – Arusha/Tarangire
After breakfast drive to Taranngire National Park, home to the greatest concentration of elephants in Africa. Lunch at Tarangire Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park
Accommodation: Tarangire Sopa Lodge – Standard Rooms. Full Board
Day 3 – Tarangire
Morning at leisure with an optional Ballon safari. After Lunch enjoy a game drive in Tarangire national park (or you may choose a full day game drive)

Day 4 Tarangire/Manyara
Breakfast at the lodge and drive to Lake Manyara national park. Lunch at Manyara Serena lodge. Afternoon game drive in the scenic lake Manyara National Park.

Day 5 Manyara/Serengeti
Morning at leisure. After lunch, a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park where a great variety of animals inhabit the park. Leopards and lions are both known to lounge in the trees while not hunting for prey.

Day 6 – Manyara/Serengeti
Breakfast at the lodge and drive to Serengeti to view the great herds of buffalo and more. Lunch at Serengeti Serena Lodge. Afternoon game drive Serengeti National Park

Day 7 & 8 – Serengeti
Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park to watch hippos return to water; giraffes foraging from trees; and lions returning from the evening hunt to relax in the shade of a tree.

Day 9 – Serengeti
Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park to watch hippos return to water; giraffes foraging from trees; and lions returning from the evening hunt to relax in the shade of a tree.

Day 9 – Serengeti/Ngorongoro
Breakfast at the lodge and drive to Ngorongoro conservation area to view one of the greatest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Arrive for lunch at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. Full Board. Afternoon at leisure.
Optional activities – walking safari or Maasai village visit.
Day 10 – Ngorongoro
After breakfast descend through the early morning mists 2000 feet into the crater for an awesome wildlife experience. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the carter, returning to the lodge in the late afternoon.
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Serena Lodge – standard Room. Full Board
Day 11 – Ngorongoro/Arusha
After breakfast at the lodge, drive to Arusha. Stop for lunch and then transfer to Kilimanjaro international Airport for your onward flight. Half Board.
