Detailed Itinerary of the 8 Days Masai Mara and Gorilla Tour in Rwanda
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to your Hotel
The 8 Days Masai Mara and Gorilla Tour starts at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you are welcomed by a company representative who offers you your Self Drive Tanzania 4×4 vehicle to transfer you to your hotel in Kenya. On arrival at the Hotel, relax and have Dinner for Dinner and Overnight. Hilton Hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara National Park
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Kenya’s Masai Mara National Park and when you reach the Park, proceed to check-in your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Masa Mara
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to enjoy a Full Day Game Drive along the various tracks in the park watching various wildlife animals wandering. You MUST carry your packed lunch then later in the evening proceed to check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Volcanoes National Park Ruhengeri District and on arrival at the park, check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Wake up early have breakfast the transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a skilled park ranger, enter the forest to track the Mountain Gorillas for 3-5 hours and when you meet them, only an hour is allowed in their presence taking various photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla trekking, return back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.
Day 6: Golden Monkey tracking in Volcanoes
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Golden Monkeys then later in groups with a park ranger guide, follow the Golden Monkeys on various trails watching them jump from one tree to another for 2-4 hours.
Take various photos to keep for memories After Golden Monkey Tracking, return back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.
Day 7: Transfer to Kigali for City Tour and relaxation
Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage embark on a transfer to Kigali to enjoy a City Tour visiting the various Genocide Memorials and National Museums then later transfer for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight at your lodge. Chezlando hotel.
Day 8: Departure to Kigali International Airport
Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage embark on a transfer to the Kigali International Airport to board your flight back home.
