For a Serengeti safari, we only offer 4×4 cars as the roads that leads to the park are rugged and we advise those who plan to go for a self-drive adventure to drive at limited speed of about 30 kilometers per hour to avoid any accident during your safari as these roads tend to be slippery.
How long will take to reach to Serengeti national park?
With over 6 major entry gates, Serengeti can be accessed from different points. You can entre the park from arusha, Mwanza, Moshi or Kenya basing on where you are coming from. Accessing the park from Arusha through Nabbi hill gate will take about 8 hours. This gate is also shared by the Ngorongoro conservation area. You can also access the park through Ndabaka gate in case you are driving from Mwanza or around Lake Victoria.

Accommodation contributes heavily on the total expense of your Serengeti wildlife safari. However, you can cat the cost on accommodation by going camping in the public campsites which are offered at about 35 dollars per night per person. Remember, on top of campsite fees, you will also have to pay the concession fees which is about 60 dollars before taxes.
The campsite are arranged with the basics for your comfort. Some of these basics include kitchen, toilets and bush chefs. There will also be the armed rangers to guarantee your safety while in the park
