Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

We begin the day with a hearty breakfast in Arusha, then set off for Tarangire National Park. We arrive after almost 2 hours, sort out the paperwork, and start the adventure. There’s much to expect from Tarangire, including big elephant herds, baobabs (or ‘trees of life’), which dot the expansive plains, and over 500 bird species. After a busy day, unwind with a massage at the luxurious Tarangire Treetops. As twilight descends and the savannah slips into darkness, the enchanting nocturnal world awakens. Head out for an optional night game drive to witness nocturnal animals under a canopy of stars.

Day 2: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Wake up to the distant sound of a roaring lion at dawn and go for a morning game drive. Alternatively, you can start the day with a heart-pounding balloon flight above Tarangire’s savanna plains. After a gourmet breakfast, we begin an expedition to the Ngorongoro Crater. We arrive just in time for much-needed lunchtime and head directly to the Entamanu Ngorongoro, where you enjoy refined cuisine. Afterward, we embark on an afternoon game drive to search for iconic wildlife such as lions, elephants, buffalo, wildebeests, and elusive leopards. Enjoy a sundowner and a bush dinner at an already-set camp on the crater rim.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Today, we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for some Big Five viewing. With a private vehicle, you can spend as much time as you want watching every wildlife moment that matters the most to you. The crater floor is just 264 square kilometers big, but hosts over 30,000 large animals, making it the place with the highest concentration of wildlife.

After lunch, we start the journey back to Arusha, stopping at one of the Maasai villages in Ngorongoro to learn more about their culture. We’ll drop you off at the Arusha Coffee Lodge. Enjoy rejuvenating spa treatments or raise a glass to celebrate your remarkable achievement.
