Umbwe gate
This gate is used as an exit route for hiker that are taking Machame route, northern circuit route and Lemosho route. The route is located in remote area surrounded by the small forests, and it connects to both Moshi town and Arusha city. Lemosho gate
For those looking for the quiet but scenic experience, this is gate to go to. It is the starting point of Lemosho trail. It is known for its remoteness and being less crowded, making it a good park for those looking for an exclusive experience while in the park. The route is surrounded by the plantation and the footprint of the forest.
It is only used for hiking, not for exit.
Londorosi gate
This is an alternate route to Lemosho and Shira route. Located in the remote area within the montane forest. The gate is a peace place where the visitors do register and start the hiking through either of the 2 mentioned routes.
Rongai gate.
For those planning to hike Rongai route, that is where you have to start your hike from. Located in the northeastern part of Kilimanjaro on Kenya/ Tanzania border. It is an ascend only route and known for its remoteness. The gate is majorly used by the people who travel from kanya and wishing to the hiking of Kilimanjaro Mountain
