That is Kenya and Tanzania known for their special tourism activities including but not limited to hiking the highest peak in Africa in form of Kilimanjaro mountains which is found in Tanzania, witness the greatest animal migration ‘the wildebeest migration’ that is happening between Kenya and Tanzania, and it is an all year round. The experience takes place between Serengeti national park of Tanzania and Masai Mara national reserve of Kenya and the activity is highlighted by the mara river crossing of wildebeest. Beside wildebeest, you will also witness several birds from lake natron, tree climbing lions at lake manyara national park or a group of elephants that moves within their families. All this will be offered to you for the greater experience in these magnificent African countries.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Naivasha Hell’s gate N.P.- Elsamere Conservation Centre

On arrival at Jomo Kinyata international airport, you will be meant and greeted by your destination expert who will take you through all the dos and don’ts during this safari experience. He will belief you about your full itinerary before transferring you to the Naivasha where you will be visiting the hell’s gate for the natural walk through the gorge. You can also do bicycle riding through the park where you will see various bird species and different wildlife including the zebras, gillafe and several gazelles. After a tour through the park, you will head to Elsamere Conservation Centre where you will tour Elsamere museum and have a chance to witness various bird as you are taking English tea while enjoying some relaxation.

Day 2: Naivasha – lake Naivasha (boat trip) – Narok Masai – Mara N.R Game Drive pomeridiano. Pernottamento in campsite nei pressi del Talek gate.

After the breakfast, you will head to Lake Naivasha, famous for its high concentration of both lesser and greater flamingos. The lake is also known for its high concentration of hippos which are estimated to be about 1500 hippos in total. For the bird enthusiasts, this is a must go to place with over 400 bird species estimated to be found around the lake and you will be able to witness them during the game drive. After the game drive you will head to masai mara game reserve located in Narok county which participate in the wildebeest migration, known to be the greatest animal migration in the entire word.

Day 3-4: Masai Mara N. Reserve

A full day game drive in Masai Mara game reserve, the home to all the big five of Africa and all the big cats including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and many more. The park is also a home to several antelopes and gazelles that you will encounter during your stay in Masai mara. What of the beautiful scenery created by the diversifying landscape that you will be witnessing during the game drive. Depending on the timing of your travel, you might be able to witness the river crossing of the wildebeest as they cross the famous mara river which is infested with the hungry crocodiles waiting to feast on them.

Day 4-5: Serengeti

After your experience in Masai Mara, you will transfer to the other half of the wildebeest migration which is Serengeti national park of Tanzania. The park is famously known for its high concentration of wildlife including all the big five of Africa, the big cats and various bird species that call the park home. The park is also known for its endless plain where the park got its name and the magnificent landscape that you will witness during the game drive.

Day 6: Serengeti-Ngorongoro

Now that you have explored the vast Serengeti plains, it is time to drive to the biggest unbroken crater in Ngorongoro crater. On top of lesser and greater flamingos, you will also be able to see all the big five of Africa. These include elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and cape buffalo. The park is also a home to both lesser and greater flamingos and several antelopes include eland which is the biggest antelope in the world.

Day 7: Ngorongoro-Lake Natron

Transfer to lake natron known to be the only breeding ground for both lesser and greater flamingos in East Africa. Its high concentration of alkaline level and its extreme conditions makes it impossible for other animal to survive from there making it a perfect breeding area for the flamingos.

Day 8: Lake Natron- Lake Manyara

Now that you are done with witnessing the uniqueness of Lake Natron, you will transfer to Lake Manyara national park, known to be one of the small parks but with so much to offer. The park is famously known for its tree climbing lions that can only be found at Manyara and queen Elizabeth national park of Uganda. You will also be able to go for a boat cruise at the lake where you will be able to witness various bird species including the flamingos

Day 9: Lake Manyara- Tarangire N.P.

After your morning breakfast, transfer to Tarangire national park the home to the huge concentration of elephants and other big cats. You will start with the morning game drive in Lake Manyara national park before transferring to Tarangire national park. You will be able to witness various wildlife that concentrate around River Tarangire most especially during the dry season

Day 10: Tarangire N.P.- Kiliminjaro

After your morning game drive, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro national park the home to the highest peak in Africa where you will be able to choose a route of your choice that you will be visiting. I will recommend that we go with Shira plateau known for its beautiful scenery.

Day 11-12: Kilimanjaro

You will use these days to hike up to the top of the mountain at Uhuru peak. the Shira route is one of the most popular routes that goes through the route

Day 14: transfer to Arusha airport
