Day 1: Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut
Day 2: Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut
Day 3: Saddle Hut to Socialist Peak to Miriakamba Hut
Day 4: Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate and Arusha
Day 5: transfer to tarangire national park
Day 6: transfer to Serengeti national park

Day 8: transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut
After arriving in Arusha and a briefing, you’ll drive to Momella Gate. From there, you begin your trek through Arusha National Park, spotting wildlife, and hiking to Miriakamba Hut. The overnight and the dinner will be at Miriakamba Hut.
Day 2: Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut
Continue your ascent from Miriakamba Hut through montane forests and scenic ridges to Saddle Hut, often referred to as “Little Meru” where you will be spending your second night and have your dinner from.
Day 3: Saddle Hut to Socialist Peak to Miriakamba Hut
This is the summit day. You’ll start in the early morning for a challenging ascent to Socialist Peak to witness the sunrise and enjoy panoramic views of Kilimanjaro. After the summit, you’ll descend back to Saddle Hut for breakfast and then continue down to Miriakamba Hut for the night.
Day 4: Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate and Arusha
Enjoy a final breakfast at Miriakamba Hut before descending all the way back to Momella Gate, where you’ll be transferred back to Arusha at your pre booked lodge for relaxation and preparation for the next day events.
Day 5: transfer to Tarangire national park
After your morning breakfast, you will transfer to Tarangire national park, famously known for its high concentration of elephants that lives within their clans. The park is also known for its giant baobab trees that dots the park and you will be able to witness during your stay in the park.
Day 6: transfer to Serengeti national park
After your breakfast, you will embark on your journey to the renowned Serengeti national park where the wildebeest migration takes place. The vast Serengeti is also known for its high concentration of big cats including lions with over 3000 lions estimated to be living within the park. Beside the big cats, you will also witness several herbivores, antelopes and various bird species that call this park their home
Day 7: full day game drive at Serengeti
A full day to explore the vast Serengeti national park with its unique landscape. You will wakeup early in the morning with your packed lunch to start your adventure with an encounter with the early morning grazers. This is also the perfect that offer a chance to encounter the predator prey interactions as the big cats will be out trying to feast on the early grazers. You will have a lunch break in the wild before resuming with an evening game drive to encounter whatever you might have missed during the morning hours
Day 8: transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area
Start the day with the morning game drive until midday through Serengeti as you plan to exit the park to Ngorongoro conservation area. On you drive to Ngorongoro, you can have a stop over at Olduvai gorge where the first human remain were found. After exploring this gorge, you will proceed to your accommodation in Ngorongoro where you will be spending your night from.
Day 9: full day game drive at Ngorongoro
After the breakfast, descend to the crater, known to be the biggest unbroken caldera in the world. This UNESCO World heritage site is also among the 7 wonders of the world because of its unique landscape and is also a home to all the big five of African and the resident wildebeest. The crater is also a home to both lesser and greater flamingos and ostriches. All that can be encountered during you day visit to the crater. After exploration ascend the crater and transfer to your lodge in Karatu where you will be spending your night at leisure.
Day 10: return to Arusha to catch your next flight.
This is the final day of your adventure. after the breakfast, you will drive heading to Arusha or Kilimanjaro where your trip will end from and catch your next flight to your next destination.
